Purple dress

Something crafty. If you have read my facebook post you will know that I have not created anything in about two weeks. I had good intentions of documenting our vacation and being inspired by the journey. But it was just to fast. So I sat down last night and created this. The purple netting I got at Stickled Pick in Goose Creek, I had to have it. It's a Tim Holtz die cut with bakers twine, I got those from Amanda Phillips The backgrounds is actually the packaging for some 7gpysy book covers, it was got to pretty to throw out. The words are Tim Holtz also.
It was fun to make and it got me back in the groove again.
Thanks for reading.

Craft Night

Craft Club Project - how awesome is that. Designed and taught by the amazing Amanda Phillips. So as I figure out how to link her blog I will.

Bakers twine- even more lovely in person

All I said was that this is the coolest thing I have ever seen, and she said you can have it, I love you Amanda.
Sweet Lord, I have never laugh so much in my whole life, them Ladies were killing me. Amanda taught us so many techniques I don't know if I remember them all.

New blog I found

http://www.aussiescrapsource.typepad.com/

By far one of the best blog I found, so many great layouts. Great Ideas

Something my Grandma left me

My Grandma left me a passion for reading and learning new things. I love old things that remind me of her. Dollies, hankerchiefs, vintage tablecloths. I have quite a collection, but most are stored in a cabinet or drawer.
My Aunt Anne started my love for paper crafts through, for Christmas one year we I was young she gave us a box of sticker paper, pastels and just about anything 3M made at the time. She worked there. I was by far the coolest present ever.
So now I was just asked to join the Design team for Charleston Scrapbooking and they want all of us to have a blog to let people know what we are doing. I'm telling you hat group of women are by far the best, most fun people to be around and it is my honor to be welcomed to there team.
