Feburary, March, April

Well, I have no idea where march went but here are February layouts. But before we get to that this is Gulliver the tortoise.

So this was February, our Cat Anne Belle was missing for three weeks, If was one of the most difficult things we have been though, then one day she comes walking up to the back door, skinny, missing her bottom teeth. But she is home.
Then there was ours neighbor boy Wes'sBirthday party. I forgot to take any photos but it was a great time.

small stuff

First I have an awesome website for you.

because if small stuff isn't cool enough, it shows you how to make it. awesome.

I do have my pages for February almost done, but I did the unthinkable, and didn't take any photos while I was a the party, not a single one. so I was scouring Facebook, hoping someone else posted, but nothing, only pictures of the cake.

So, I will get a picture of the cake and finish it up.

I colored it up with my Spectrum Noirs. So today I celebrate friendship and other peoples paper stashes. Thanks Amanda.

 Pinterest weekend

So I had a couple people over this weekend to get together and do project for Pinterest. So instead of just pinning we were making stuff.

We started off with a friend of mine Mary taught me how to crochet.  I am practicing ever night, but I have to figure out the tension thing, cause its ready hard on my hands. I have had two carpal Tunnel surgeries with in the last couple months and I shanked myself in the hand last monday. so they don't work as well as before. But at least I can use them.
Then Susan showed us how to etch metal. I have been pinning those forever.

Next I made this bulletin board out of cork, its easy but I still didn't take the time to do till now.

I also got to do some yard sales Saturday morning where I found this vintage scrabble tiles and made this little thing that goes with all the family photos. Also I got to spend some time with my freind Amanda yard saling over the phone, she wasn't feeling well so I would take photo of thing I know she will like and send them to her. It was a lot of friend. I can't wait til we can do it in person.
In the mist of all this creativity Me and a fellow from church re-wrap the duct insulation and and coated it, put door sweeps on the sanctuary doors, moved in some file cabinets.

I also found a awesome milk glass lamp, that I rebuild this weekend. I was a great weekend.

Hopefully all of you had a productive weekend too.

New Year

So I picked up the new Calender pack from Graphic 45 and I am determined to scrap what we are doing each month even if its just working or hanging out with friends, I have seen a lot of people who try to scrap the small things a long with the big, the good along with the bad, last year was a lot of bad, and a little good. Four funeral and four surgery for my house. Plus many friends sick and losing there loved ones.

I know I don't actually do scrapbooking but I think I should try more. I have a wonderful Family and a fabulously bunch of freinds and some day when I'm in God's waiting room I might want to page though them.

Thank you for taking time to read this, and I hope to show you more as the year goes on.
